Custom Injection Molding   Custom injection-molded components and trim add a high-quality finish to any cockpit or cabin. But injection-molding used to be limited to high-volume pieces, due to the high cost of tooling.   Not anymore.   Utilizing our CNC routing capability, Marine Molding has created a faster, simpler way to develop molding tools. This means injection-molded components can now be produced at price competitive with flat-cut pieces – even in runs of as few as 25 pieces! You get a component with greater structural integrity and a better finish, accurate to .005 inch.   To develop a tool, all we need is a standard CAD drawing of the part. (Or we can develop a drawing from supplied dimensions.)   We can also handle the molding operation itself, with access to machines of 50 to 1000 tons capacity. Parts can be shot in ABS, styrene, polypropylene and polyethylene.   Turnaround is just three weeks for tool and first parts. And there is no set up fee.     Custom Routing   Our high-speed, computer-controlled router makes quick work of cutting and milling flat plastic stock – including HDPE and Starboard – to the tightest tolerances. We can work from any standard CAD file. Or, simply send us the specifications and we’ll handle the layout for you.
